Jack E. Crow Postdoctoral Fellowship
This two-year fellowship was named for the founding director of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, whose long-time commitment to education and research at all levels is well known. The program is designed for scientists or engineers who have received their Ph.D.s within the last five years and are affiliated with an institution of higher learning or comparable research organization, a research interest in any of the scientific areas represented at the MagLab's three sites.
The fellowships are open to all science and engineering disciplines at the MagLab and pay fellows $50,000 per year plus benefits. Minority applicants are encouraged to apply.
The fellowship is offered every two years, and will next be available in 2014. Please return to this page at that time. For more information on this award, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page or contact Anke Toth.
Applicants to the program should submit the following:
- a one-page statement of prior research activities and future research interests that will be pursued at the MagLab, if a fellowship is awarded
- a one-page letter of support from a proposed fellowship sponsor at the MagLab who best represents the research in the area proposed
