Ambassador Program 2006
Educators network at the August 2006 meeting.

Our Ambassadors Program is a community of some 100 science teachers and administrators from North Florida and South Georgia. This network of professionals gathers twice a year at the Magnet Lab for a dinner meeting. These events give ambassadors the opportunity to share resources and career news, attend workshops on science education trends and techniques and listen to guest speakers. During the August 2006 meeting, FSU physics professor Harrison Prosper gave a presentation about Albert Einstein and his theory of time dilation.

This program creates a supportive web among key educators across the region, with the Magnet Lab serving as its hub. Our ambassadors share the information and resources from the program with their own network of students, colleagues and other professionals.
