Mag Lab Reports is the lab's primary publication. Coming out five times a year, the mostly scientific publication features news and information about the lab's users programs and facilities, and highlights groundbreaking research from various disciplines.

The annual Science Highlights edition of Mag Lab Reports features 33 of the best research reports submitted in 2008. Chosen by the lab's esteemed Science Council and further whittled down by Lab Director Greg Boebinger, these highlights reflect the interdisciplinary nature of science in high magnetic fields and summarize the level of activity – and direction – of scientific inquiry at the lab.
