Cell 7: 31.2 Tesla / 50 mm Resistive Magnet

This standard 20 MW solenoid magnet produces 31 tesla in a 50 mm bore for a variety of experimental inserts. These are helium dewars, furnaces and optics experiments. This magnet also has two modulation coils which reduce the bore to 32 mm but provide the ability to modulate the field or the field gradient.
