3He System E - Cell 15 Hybrid Magnet
3He System E
This is a sample in liquid, top-loading cryostat available for use in the 45T hybrid magnet. It can be fitted with either a 3He sorption pumped insert, or a 4He variable-temperature insert. Appropriate temperature ranges are 320mK to 70K and 1.4K to 325K respectively. Experiments performed include, but are not limited to, transport, magnetization, surface conductivity and optics with fibers.
Rotating and fixed probes are available for use. Available sample space varies by probe, but is generally 17mm. Additionally, sample holders for System D and System E are cross-compatable.
