Arrow900 MHz Probe Development for MRI of Live Mice

Rodent Probe
900 MHz in vivo probe for MR imaging of rodents.

Magnetic resonance imaging is an important capability of the 900 UWB. 900-MHz RF transmitter/receiver coils and animal handling equipment have been developed by the MagLab’s RF group.

1H, 23Na, 13C and 35Cl coils are available for live mouse and rat brain imaging. This project is a collaborative effort of the MRI program at the AMRIS facility at the University of Florida.
