Safety Training and Resources
The Mag Lab has a comprehensive set of safety programs designed to ensure the safest possible conditions for faculty, staff, users and visitors. Our training slideshows provide visiting scientists and staff with an introduction to our Environmental Health and Safety Program and the hazards encountered at the laboratory. For more information, visit our Online Learning System. For more information contact Environmental Health and Safety Manager Angela Sutton at sutton@magnet.fsu.edu or (850) 644-6955.

Mag Lab Summer School
In 2009 the Mag Lab launched its first User Summer School. Designed to provide a user tool kit to help visiting scientists obtain the most from their experience, the week-long camp comprised tutorials on measurement techniques, hands-on practical exercises and plenary talks on high magnet field research spanning condensed matter, physics, materials science, chemistry and biology. The school will be offered again in 2010. Please check our Mag Lab Summer School page for more details.
