2005 Users Committee Meeting and FEL Workshop
The Magnet Lab's Users Committee met October 27-29, 2005, at the University of Florida for discussions on a wide range of topics, including:
- facility operations
- opportunities for new instrumentation and expanded services
- magnet development and science
- administrative matters, including the approval of committee by-laws
In conjunction with the committee meeting, the laboratory hosted a special one-day Free Electron Laser Workshop, which was attended by committee members, Magnet Lab faculty and guests.
Break-out sessions for the four facility advisory committees (DC/Pulse; NMR; EMR, ICR) were held as part of the Users Committee meeting.
